Home team discount? This only puts him at 8th amongst corners in average money, and the cap has gone up in a big way since then.

Dude has sucked for 3/4 years- that contract is fair given the boom/bust possibility of him.

This mentality doesn’t exist anymore. The younger generation of player doesn’t care about this - money and/or situation are the only things that matter.

Especially as a runningback, where they aren't really getting paid well and have the shortest careers.

All the Safety Talk, I feel like everyone is forgetting about a very good Safety who kinda has fallen under the radar lately...That could be the best bang for the buck...

I wouldn't call him a very good safety. I'm good on the S/LB hybrids. Just get me a high end safety and be done with it.

There’s no way you’re here suggesting (and calling him very good) we sign Jeremy Chinn. This bum was purposely benched last year and only played during non-passing downs because he can’t cover anyone. He’s fallen under the radar because he sucks.

Chinn is the perfect low cost high reward type of player/contract. You could prolly sign him for an APY 4-6 Million, Thats a steal and would be much needed depth/starting potential.

Yep.  Average safety salaries are going to be lower this year with so many guys on the market.  The Athletic did an article on this today.

Kenneth Murray sucks, and Luvu is better than Queen.

Murray I like because of his low Miss tackle rate, and think he could thrive with a change of pace, I'd Prefer Simmons but think Murray will come cheaper. Queen is younger then Luvu and has produced every season. Murray and Queen can fit any LB Role we want.

Murray has zero instincts.  Queens production falls off a cliff when Roquan isn't on the field telling him what to do. You are majorly overrating them both. I can pretty much guarantee if we signed Queen, he would not play much better than Kyzir White did for us, unless our other ILB is a stud that can tell him his responsibilities every play.

I think Jeremy chinn is a good fit in someone else’s scheme, I’ve heard quite a few beat writers say he struggles in the fangio system. He’d probably be great on a Baltimore ravens style defense where he can play that Kyle Hamilton box look.
