So defenses just sat on the underneath stuff all season. They attacked the LOS, regularly tripled Travis. Like I’ve never seen cover one be so successful against a Mahomes offense before, and blitzes were especially effective. at one point it felt like 3-4 times a week MVS was wide open, waving for the ball, and Mahomes dumps it for a short gain. The question is when and how long. Guesses range from nothing until 2025 to the first half of this season. While the first pick was Worthy, he was the only WR drafted. There is a day #3 TE but the draft focused on OL. It's doubtful any of them wins a game #1 starting job, unlike 2021 and 2022 which had multiple immediate starters.
