NYCRavensFlock
Welp if Kyle wants our secondary to stop talking about playing better and just actually play better this week would be the week to do it.
diamondbull424 Posted yesterday at 12:52 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:52 AM Was very concerned until I saw Florio bet against the Ravens for this game. I sort of feel like this game will be a little less high scoring than expected. I could see Tampa with getting all those guys back giving this offense its best defensive test this season and of the coaches most familiar with Baker’s strengths and weaknesses, you’d think we’d have the upper hand in that regard. I’d expect the final score to be something in the 20s for both squads. Something like 24-20 or 24-27.
Ray Reed
We’ve gotta lose again at some point right? Better this week than next week at the Browns

Better this week than next week at the Browns Winning is better and more fun though, right? Such a weird sport where I'm more afraid of injuries now than loses. It was nice for a minute to be in the state where we felt like we really had to win games in the regular season. Now, it's hard to fight the mentality that I just want to see as many of these guys stay healthy as possible.

Yeah it’s wild how healthy we’ve been the last 2 years compared to the apocalypse that was like 2020-2022
AFlaccoSeagulls
Man this defense is just tough to watch. Can't get lined up, don't look prepared, communication breakdowns galore, leaving Mike Evans wide open for an easy touchdown.
AFlaccoSeagulls
So on both opening drives you have the typical problems showing up. Defensive communication and coverage breakdowns from Stephens and Marcus Williams. Offensively the OL misses 2 straight basic blocks and allows back to back sacks. Le sigh. Not acceptable.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with them too but let's not forget that, outside of the Raiders and Cowboys (who the referees walked down the field in the second half of both games), they've faced all top 10, high powered offenses so far. I agree but it just feels like the offense is just hummingly unstoppable and like the defense is gonna get better as the year goes on.

The question is - are tehse units top 10 because they're good, or top 10 because they've faced us to inflate their stats?
