Jaquiski Tartt 3UP #3

NFL 3 year/ 14,260 (4754)

Current BDL 1 year / 2500

BDL 3 year/ 12121 (4041 per year)

49ers signed SS Jaquiski Tartt to a two-year, $13 million contract extension.

He's now under contract through 2020. With incentives, the deal can reach up to $15 million. Tartt missed the final seven games of last year with a broken forearm but played well when healthy, earning PFF's No. 24 grade out of 89 qualifiers at safety. The 26-year-old has started 22 of 39 games for the Niners since arriving as a second-round pick in 2015.

(Since this is such a new event it isn't on Spotrac yet)

He can't be 3 upped because he was an RFA this year. It will be next year before he ca  be 3 upped. Similar to Kyle Long scenario from   2 years ago.

3-UP 2

You've got to bear with me here as the new contract is an extension to his current instead of an erase of his current year.

NFL Contract - 3 year / 24,600 (8,200)

BDL Contract - 1 year / 6120

BDL Offer - 3 year / 20,910 = 6970 per year.

I believe this satisfies the rule below so will approve. Upcoming Free Agent is ambiguous enough to include players with 1 year left on their deals.

If the player is an upcoming free agent that is not coming out of his BDL rookie deal, he can be signed at 85% of the value of his remaining IRL contract

Hawaii Nightmarchers 3 Up #1

NFL Contract is 4 years/38,350 (9,588)
(Old contract average 5,100 + new money extension 33,250)

BDL Contract: 1 year/$6,500

BDL Offer: 4 years/$32,600 = $8150 per year

Hawaii cap before: $3,567

Hawaii cap after: $1,917

Following the logic for Olsen. Approve.
