Free Agency Discussion

Dorsey has never drafted a running back first round on any team he’s been a part of.

Dorsey drafted the 2017 Rushing Champion in the 3rd round last year.

Barkley alluded to the Browns as “going in another direction” in an interview but enjoyed meeting with them because “you never know if you might be a free agent in four or five years”.

Dorsey did not list running back as one of his Top 5 most important positions to win in football.

As much as I like Barkley, it seemed fairly straightforward that we would pass on him, probably even if he was available at 4.

Never heard of him. Seems pricy for a blocking TE.

If it helps to look at it this way, 4 million a year accounts for about 2.25% of the 177 million dollar salary cap.

To say we can afford it would be an understatement.

Plus depending on how it’s structured, we may eat up a good bit of that this year in the form of a bonus.

His blocking numbers seemed to be down last year. Can he catch at all? Or does he have telfair hands?

Detroit refused to commit to the run, they were a hot mess trying to run the ball. As far as catching, enough to catch a defense sleeping
