I dunno man, banking on Seattle having another top defense is riskay. Sherman and Thomas both losing steps, Chancellor a year older, etc.

Who am I kidding they'll probably still lead the league in PPG again

It's a win-win for me. They fall off a bit? Fine, Seahawks gotta come to Lambeau if at all in the playoffs. The stay rock solid? That's cool for this too.

Totally agree

Well played.

My "bold" prediction for this season is that a Sherman/Bennett vs Carroll/Wilson feud breaks the team up, with both Sherman and Bennett off the team in 2018.

Would not be surprised.

I would not be shocked if they miss the playoffs this year, actually.

Seattle's only real competition in the NFC west is Arizona.  SF and LA are very unlikely to be .500 teams.  Hard to see them missing the playoffs, but stranger things have happened.

As for Bennett and Sherman, Bennett has a hard contract to get out of, Sherman's is easier ($2.2M dead cap).

That offensive line is one ankle sprain away from collapsing the entire team.

Arizona is better this year than 2016. So is LAR. So is SF. That might mean 1-2 more losses in the division. I have serious doubts Seattle's able to maintain their lead.

fwiw, i like the defense pick.

side note, i have to agree with persian. i dont see seattle missing the playoffs. i would love to see the rams make a jump, but im still not totally sold on goff. they sure do have weapons on offense now, though.

ill never trust a carson palmer led football team to make any kind of noise in the playoffs.
