When did you first start watching? Depending on how long it has been, I would say that fighter are just more skilled, better trained, and have more knowledge in the octagon.

About 8-9 years ago. Fighters have gotten better, but I’m not sure that’s the whole story with it. And I feel like the flash KOs really only stopped being a regular thing 3 or so years ago, right around the time IVs got banned and changed the way guys cut for fights.

Maybe a little bit of both? Would be interesting to go back and look at the actual numbers.

And less steroids. Maybe.

I say do Diaz vs Cerrone 2, winner fights Conor

Cerrone-Diaz and Conor-Cerrone both make a lot of sense. The first probably headlines an ESPN card, the Conor fight headlines a PPV and does >1m buys.

The problem is Conor/Diaz though, and whether either of them are fighting any time soon. Nate doesn't seem interested in fighting right now

If Diaz is gonna be a chitbird, then just make a Cerrone Mcgregor ESPN Main Card or PPV. If you're a UFC who wouldn't like that, you're not a UFC fan.

I love it fellas! This has been great. I hope that fight wins fight of the night.

EDIT: I have doubts that Conor would take an ESPN Fight. I feel like he'd only take PPVs.
