  1. Well, yeah, just that one time. But what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
  2. I like the pick, and I like the play; I just don't know if the man conjures up the "absolute technician" image for me. I'm going with "consistent run blocker" or, after another drink or two, I might move on to "forceful run blocker" if I'm feeling a bit daffy.
  3. Thanks, I appreciate that breakdown, since I'm not much of a math guy. Does something like weather affect those numbers? ETA: we aren't talking about blame? I admit I jumped from the thread title to about the midway point in the discussion, but . . .
  4. Look, there are plenty of reasons to get on Rodgers' case right now - the guy has become unhinged. But I saw a guy who played ok on Saturday.
  5. They are very different issues. Rodgers doesn't perform as well in the playoffs as he does during the regular season. We can discuss why, if you want. Seriously, though. If the final score was 13-0 Packers, or maybe 16-3, you'd look at the temperature, the snow, the wind, the amount of drops or mishandled footballs as a logical reason why the Packers didn't score more points. Maybe you'd even look at the 49ers D. So, yes, maybe there's some blame to share, but almost all of it goes to ST. How can we look at this any other way? It feels like an emotional response rather than logic. I'm surprised you don't agree, actually.
  6. If the final score was 13-0, GB wins, you'd be looking at this more rationally. 13-0 isn't a stretch. I'm also ignoring Marcedes' fumble on an early promising drive.
  7. Every single point SF scored with the possible exception of the last three points came from ST meltdowns . . . you don't want to consider that as a logical argument?
  8. Some of this is on Rodgers, but not as much as some of you seem to think. The defense played great. Special teams cost us almost all of SFs points. I don’t know, maybe all of them. We all think the offense should have put up better numbers. But it’s crazy to think the numbers were going to be great last night. The only player that could catch the ball consistently on either team was Adams. Even Kittle bricked one. Routes were bad. Conditions were bad. Maybe Rodgers should have been better, but he wasn’t the reason they lost.
  9. I guess all it took for Packers fans to love Rodgers again was to get a Bears bum to say he didn't like #12.
  10. Just checked ESPN Gamecast for an update and it seems we’ve had a busy 4th quarter.
  11. Maybe see if Crosby can return punts
  12. Some of the money he gets paid is for throwing the pigskin, and some of the money he gets paid is for being a public figure.
