What I really like about the defense this year is that they play tough and are not afraid to hit hard and play through the whistle. In years past, it always seemed like our defense played a little soft (with a few exceptions). I loved Kendricks, but he didn't have that nasty streak that Pace has. You don't need gentlemen on Defense. You need dawgs. And we have them.

As long as Deebo can play, the loss of McCaffrey shouldn't matter too much for SF. They need that double threat, but I feel we have much more speed in the front 7 now than we had last year, so we should match up better in the box. However, It feels like we lack speed in the secondary, which is why Aiyuk worries me most.

And I didn't really have the impression, that the run game carried him. The RBs really took off in the second half, when the game was well in hand. So Darnold kind of carried the offense for the first two quarters.

In my opinion, Shadeur Sanders is just not a very good Quarterback. It's all hype with him. If he had a different last name, we would be talking about a fourth round prospect at best.

1 p.m. is the sweet spot, it's 7 p.m. here. All the other games I usually watch on gamepass the next day, because I have to get up early for work. Happy to watch a Vikings-49ers game live for once. Edit: Night games start at 2 a.m. local time, so if the game is a little slower, I can usually catch the last few minutes after I get up at 5:30 a.m. for work.
