What Are You Thinking About v.CC

So I'm trying to construct new accounts for my future banking so I'll need a new bank since I'm moving. I was using a credit union.

My thought process was a brick and mortar bank/credit union for my main account for bills, and an online bank for a high yield savings account that had a decent brokerage attached to it for investments.

Issue is I'm getting better APY on checking accounts from online banks as well.

Also I'm not sure if its super important to transfer funds between a savings account that doubles as a brokerage account.

If anyone has any thoughts or strategies I'd appreciate it.

My paying attention to it or not doesn't change the fact that it's there. Its not like I'm engaging with these  people. Its' still there, and that's the tragic part. I just have to see it if I'm responding / tweeting at someone I actually follow.

I would just delete it if you are having issues with is.

I love Twitter. It's everything wholesome and vial on in internet.

What are your goals for your "main" account? Why would the online bank not work for checking?

I just think a brink and mortar bank would be easier as it has branches in my home town, as well, as where I'm moving too. If I'm using to pay bills and whatnot, I doubt my balance would be of any significance to accrue any real interest. It maybe a moot point.

Idk if I'm overthinking this. I probably am.

Nowadays, most FIs have pretty strong online banking services - make deposits with your phone, dispute transactions, etc. Actual brick and mortar spots aren't really doing anything you can't do on your phone or at an ATM (in the event you need actual cash). You might need a physical location if you needed a Cashier's Check or money order, that's the only thing I can really think of...

There's nothing wrong with having one, especially if it's a billing purposes only account. Find one with no fees or minimum balances would be my only suggestion.

Yeah Most of my research shows that banks like chime and axos are FDIC insured like the brick and mortar ones. And almost all have a strong network of atm locations with fee reimbursements and no min deposit

Die Hard gets all of the love, but Die Hard: With a Vengeance is a classic. Bruce Willis, Samuel L Jackson, Jeremy Irons and a ton of explosions? That should win all of the awards.

The water jug scene won me a prize in school.

Willis and Jackson had such great chemistry while running around NYC...

It was great.

Also, the first three movies are the only ones I consider Die Hard movies. Everything after that is a different series about a super hero cop.

Heck, I barely recognize 2. The rest of the stuff outside of the first three is akin to the Fast and Furious franchise, just a bunch of efx porn for people who enjoy that sort of nonsense.
