VikeManDan
Holmes and Campbell mesh well it seems. They've drafted well and players love playing for Campbell. Fun time to be a Lions fan. Will be curious to see what a Goff extension looks like.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him get near $35M/yr, because as many have suggested, this is going to be the peak period for WR salaries. With the way they're coming out of school way more prepared than they used to be, the salary increases will diminish and potentially even recede like the RB salaries have.

skywindO2
Doubt he'll get as much but have to imagine that Sewell contract will be a factor in Darrisaw's too.

swede700
The real average is actually only about $22M/yr, not $30M.

Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter There is no deal “imminent” for Lions QB Jared Goff, despite the fact that WR Amon-Ra St. Brown and OT Penei Sewell now have landed new deals, per source. The Lions and Goff have spoken about a new contract this off-season, but no deal is close at this time.
SemperFeist
If the Lions give Goff a new contract, I’d guess that it’ll be pushing $50M per year. At least on paper.
vike daddy
It is the third consecutive year the Lions have drafted an Alabama player in the first round. PFT
