You can’t stop QBs like Ben, particularly in today’s NFL. So we’re mixing up our blitz package and keeping him constantly seeing some kind of pressure (even if we’re not always getting there), that way he’s never allowed to get fully comfortable. They’re forcing him to make quick decisions and banking on him eventually making a “quick mistake” or be mostly perfect. This type of defensive gameplan forces field goals and limits touchdowns.
