That is a backward move. We'd lose a top safety, sixth round pick, third RB for essentially the exact same thing Perry could offer this year. The reason I want Fowler is not because he's going to be some significant upgrade at starting pass rusher. He's going to be Nick Perry's production, but fresh on passing downs and will keep Perry/Matthews fresh. That and nothing more is Fowler's contribution for us.
