squire12
With the firing of MM, time to shift to the process of finding the 16th HC for the GB Packers. Needless to say, the next HC will have some big shoes to fill and high expectations from the fanbase and the organization. Having a top tier 2x MVP and previous Super Bowl winning QB already in the fold is a very rare commodity Feel free to share your preferences and targets. A little background information on them would be ideal to help stimulate discussion on the merits of the candidates. Best of luck to MM and thanks for a great tenure as the HC of the GB Packers. I wish you well and hope you find a new team or job that keeps you happy. squire12
Veteran NFL coach Bruce Arians -- I think he would be able to get the ear of MM and has had success in resurrecting Carson Palmer's career. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/AriaBr0.htm Found this, might be a nice way to sift through the NFL teams for OC and other positional coaches for possible options. I think with how the NFL game seems to be evolving and adopting more concepts from the college game makes a college coach an interesting option. Has nothing to do with college, just think those guys are better candidates than what is available around the NFL.

I know the Iowa State HC is a top option from what you have been posting. My group is submitting a study to the NFL and it's teams tomorrow which means I'll be talking to my guy in Green Bay in the coming days. I figured I'd be talking to him tomorrow but after today's events they might be a little busy. The last time we spoke I got 3 names out of him - Matt Campbell, Matt LaFleur, and Dan Campbell in what seemed like that order of preference. I'd go so far as saying Matt Campbell was "gushed" about. Hopefully I'll get some nuggets this week.
