Damn a haul list of issues in cleveland to deal with.

Darnold is higher on himself then most it seems like. Looks like Rosen is the top pick at quarterback right now and SF pretty much eliminated themselves from that race.

The Browns not getting Darnold is probably a blessing in disguise for Cleveland. Don't trust any USC QB until I see them succeed in the NFL.

Browns should hope for Barkley or Guice +  Rosen. Maybe even Lamar Jackson. And a new HC. Looks like Hue has no idea what he's doing. He's basically Trestman without the one good offensive year.

So post Ajayi trade Team Needs:

LT

WR

CB

S (Rodney is just average and Jenkins will be 30 in December)

LB Depth

DT if Jernigan leaves

OL depth

DE depth?

P

Are we confident that RB is taken care of past next year?

Clement and Smallwood are meh.

Blount is a FA next year.

Ajayi might just be a year and a half rental. There is obvious concern about his knees as Miami gave him a rest day every week.

Might not be the best decision to give him a lot of $ on a long term deal.

Right now I'm looking at DT, LB, WR.

I'm just not sure about OT. I liked what I've seen from McGlinchey, but I think he was better at RT than he has been at LT.

Calvin Ridley despite being old is probably my top guy if we go WR.

I would love to have a DT like Payne (probably no chance in hell he falls tho) or Hurst (might be there late in rd 1) next to Cox if we don't re-sign Jernigan.

If we don't re-sign Bradham, then guys like Roquan Smith and Rashaan Evans would be great additions.

It at least buys us time for a year on RB. Unless a RB falls and we get insane value there is no way we are taking an RB this year. Picking one early makes no sense value wise, and picking one late makes little sense with Clement and Smallwood being serviceable backs. Just give Ajayi his year and a half and reevaluate in 2019.

Imo, we need Lineman and bad. First round pick should be ideally an OT, but I wouldn't even be mad to grab the best OG available if the value is good, especially since we have no 2nd day picks. The rest all depends on FA.

No, but I'm mostly looking at immediate team needs. You can't trust a knee that's close to being bone on bone, but it should at least last another year and half. If Nick Chubb is staring at us in round 1 though, I'm not upset if we take him.

We'll re-sign Bradham. And we'll still need an LB, because Hicks isn't just injury prone, but season-ending-injury prone. I have no problem with a stud LB in round 1, and that's assuming we re-sign Bradham. I'd prefer a stud LT, CB, or WR, but I ain't mad at having the next Bobby Wagner or even just a healthier/less injury prone version of Jordan Hicks. A stud LB is a difference maker when it comes to defending TE's and RB's in coverage. Carson Wentz is our franchise, but I think our defensive front 7 is what defines The Philadelphia Eagles, and we need to keep it strong or make it even better. I'd like to make it better before Fletcher Cox goes downhill in 3-4 years.
