They didnt have the shooters they're used to having so he adjusted to their strengths. However, living and dieing on ISO ball is never going to win a title in college basketball. Michigan State put pressure on our defense every play with their pick-n-rolls, screens, cuts, etc. We were constantly forced to switch and ultimately that's what won them the game. Our entire offense was weaving a couple of times on the perimeter, throw it to RJ, and everyone else stand around while he takes a bad shot. It was pathetic. You have the greatest freshman in the history of college basketball, with a Final 4 birth on the line, and he doesn't touch the ball in the final 2 minutes? Like dear god. Duke and Kentucky regularly have the most talented teams in the country but flame out in the tournament.
