Its all part of a media campaign against harden and I just don't understand it. Even Saturday night when Harden was 0 for 15, instead of saying he was 0-15, they were talking about him being 0 for his last 17, because up 20 in garbage time he missed his last two shots of game 2. Totally irrelevant, but they were adding those 2 missed shots to his total the entire game. its mind blowing, Harden can do things that Jordan and Kobe couldn't do and yet we have to listen to announcers trash him the entire game. Call him a disgrace to basketball and everything else. We have to seen him fouled repeatedly without a call, and then listen to people whine when he gets a call he didn't deserve. Has there ever been a guy that people claim is a fake, who has been this good for this long? People whine "free throws, free throws, free throws" all day long. Take away free throws, and Harden still leads the league in scoring. for some people nothing short of Harden miraculously beating 4 prime HOFers on one of the greatest teams of all time will do. And then theres the whole "harden sucks in the playoffs" argument that is just a joke. this series is a perfect example. Harden was MVP level for 2 games, struggled badly for 3 quarters of game 3, but went for 14 in the 4th to steal a win, and in revisionist history people will say "look at his shooting %" he sucked it up and choked. Meanwhile over in OKC you have two guys who cant win a road playoff game and are both annual all nbaers.... just 1 time in his Houston Career has Harden played with an all NBA player, Dwight Howards 1st year in Houston, and hes a choker because he can't beat Golden State? Bron has did it before. Bron might lose the series but he will be playing lights out basketball. When Rockets lose to GS its bc Harden plays terrible. Shot 13% from 3 in a game 7 last year. How about forget the part about beating or losing to GS and just play up to your ability? Is that too much to ask? After game 1, he wasn't very good that series and you know it. None of the close games did he have an impact as it was all CP3 and Gordon, and then he was part of the big shooting drought in game 7. But no need to repeat the crap that has been said for years, time for him to step up this year. Let this playoff run be his career defining moment. Let's see him have that regular season type of impact and then some which could possibly lead the Rockets past the Warriors and ultimately to the finals. A good sign for him was his performance against the Jazz last game in the 4th quarter. Having one of the worst shooting games of all time, he never got deterred and made a lot of winning plays.
