I'm not so sure that the bomb to Tonyan wasn't perfect. Looked to me like Tonyan slowed down a touch on that thing early on. Tough play, for sure. But the look on Rodgers face told me that he thought the ball was perfect. Other QBs and HCs go right back to the guy that just screwed up to get their confidence back. AR (and perhaps MM) slam these players into a dog house that shakes their confidence and challenges their production. Its not a perfect game. Heard former GM's talk about it all the time on Sirius....they talk about everyone being tradeable, within reason, and the outlandish trades they never made. If someone wanted Sanders today and offered a second, Elway jumps on that and doesn't look back. Don't fool your self and try to think otherwise. A second for a guy like Sanders is a steal. It's not a matter of if someone is available, it is compensation for the player that becomes an issue. Especially a veteran like Sanders. Aged. Injured. Last year of deal. Losing team.
