I'm sick of the excuses as well. Do your job and the coach and fans won't have to worry.

If you can't make a field goal because your coach has his eye on you and the fans aren't confident, how do you expect to make a 43 yard  game winning field goal to head to the Super Bowl?

Consistency leads to job security. A bubble player can't afford repeated mistakes.

Maybe it’s not just the player. 

This makes no sense to me though. It's baffling for sure. What is the kicker thinking? Zimmer yelling? Fans booing? I guess I don't know what the issue is or how to correct it. But it's poor performance at the end of the day.

I wonder if this is partially on Zim, I've never been huge on how he treats them and now its shown his emotions got the best of him with Carlson who was excellent in Oakland

I don’t know the answer either, but I do find it interesting that during this year’s preseason Vedvick was 12/13 in Baltimore and has been 1/4 in Minnesota, while last year Carlson was 1/4 for Minnesota and 16/17 for Oakland, while Bailey had the worst year of his career. Who’s the common denominator,
