The greed of sports owners is always tough to accept. Got half a billion in public money for Fiserv, franchise value has gone from $550 million to $1.6 billion, and still trying to save.

Yes, it has less to do with PJ than ownership. This team and fanbase just showed out for them, made them a **** ton of money, and the first time they are facing the tax, they cheap out and let a pivotal piece walk. If they run a short bench again, just to save tax money, I'm going to be pissed. They tried so hard to avoid it last year but the Jrue bonus screwed that up. They lied, flat out, about spending. They are ******* billionaires with a man that turned their $550m investment into a $1.62b venture. Spend the god damn money to run it back/upgrade. Now, we lose out on that spot. We still have a $4.8m TPE from the Tucker trade (DJA) to use and the TPMLE ($5.9m). So we have ways to navigate but now we need to fill another spot unless we plan on Diakite playing the PJT role.

But, because they cheapened out on a $7.5m deal, it's hard to see them using that TPE for the same reasons.

Having a hard time trying to make sense of this one. Thought the Tucker deal was a no brainer.

Nwora is Bryn's replacement, in the shooter spot. The fact is we lost that roster spot, it has less to do with PJ himself than the flexibility having his money provides in trade talks, etc. In order to bring that spot back, we need to use the $4.88m TPE we got in the Augustin-Tucker trade. Whether or not we can pull that off is another story.
