RamRod
I don't want to sound like I'm already dismissing this season but I can't help to already be thinking about next season. Will the Rams even be good next season? It feels like major changes could be in order. Whitworth likely retires leaving an already struggling offensive line in even worse shape. Defense could look a little different next year. Talib just got put on IR and is like 34. Peters has to go. Fowler too. Of course who knows what we'll do in next off season. Biggest areas of need will probably be CB, OL, EDGE.
El Ramster
Honestly I’m expecting Snead to make Fowler the highest paid DE. He’s always good for a wtf contract.!
LeotheLion
Here's what we know unless something drastic happens. We will have the same QB, RB, 3 WRs, and 2 TEs. We will have Donald, JJIII, and our specialists. If we think Rapp is ready for a bigger role then Weddle becomes expendable. I like how Clay has played but with us up against the cap I think he is also expendable. My instinct is I'd rather have Weddle back over Clay if that was an option just because Clay is more injury prone. Our best FAs are Blythe, Littleton, Brockers, Peters, Talib, and Fowler. I'd be fine if we don't keep any of them as I don't think any will play up to their contract. One thing I'd like to see is us trade Reynolds for either a pick or player. He's too good to be used as infrequently as we use him so we might as well get something for him.
rocky_rams
I think the team is going to look drastically different as they move in to the new stadium

BStanRamFan
They will likely part ways with vets that have bad contracts (Talib, Weddle, Clay). Whitworth will likely retire. Brockers will be gone. Peters shouldn't be given a top $ contract. Draft picks need to be spent on OL/LB/CB. I expect them to make one or two splash FA's, but we might end up looking like what the Seahawks did a la "retooling" while being competitive for a WC spot. Seahawks and 49ers will likely compete for the title this and next year. I've brought it up multiple times on this forum that the window was 2017, 2018, and this year given the contract situation. After the regression of the O Line and now injury bug, this year has closed. I think the window has closed for atleast another year or so while we retool young talent and build up the O-Line/D-Line. We need to get out from Gurley's contract, but sadly we cannot. Goff, Donald, Kupp,Everett, Henderson. This is our core. If Oko and Natrez Patrick show promise the ladder of the season. I have little faith in Noteboom and Allen after this seasons small sample size. Can't hold blocks and just get overpowered. Blythe and Havenstein are salvagable although Havenstein looks atrocious. I'm not as drastic as some people with the Fire Snead, McVay has been figured out, and Goff needs to be benched.. That's all ridiculous. But we do need to "retool" going forward because of poor contract choices and aging vets in key positions.
