That's like your internet line hanging outside of your house, but you still take your computer to Apple because you can't get online. Those doctors do not have the specialty training that oncologists have to diagnose and treat that. Just the same way your primary care doctor would refer you for any number of ailments to a specialist. Thank you!!! Dude had 5+ years to have his own doctor(s) look at it. He didnt. The responsibility lies with him at some point

I had a large lump develop at the base of my hairline in the back of my head last year. First doctor (in ER) took a look at it and said it was shingles. Put me on a powerful anti-viral drug. Lump grew even further (evebrually to 2 inches wide, 1 inch tall and 3/4 inches thick) I waited exactly 4 days to go see another doctor. Doctor took one look at me and said "that's not shingles". Put me on an extremely powerful/large dose of antibiotics and told me to come back in a week. I did. It hadnt gone down by much so they had to debride it. And since the tissue was cystic, the local they gave me was only 75% effective in blocking the pain I felt ALL of it as he cut it out. So much so that for 10 minutes after my adrenaline had given me the shakes. Had I not gotten my second opinion, I'd be dead. Because inside that cyst was filled with MRSA. I'm well off but nowhere near as rich as Trent. He could've gotten a 2nd opinion at any point in the preceding 5+ years. He didnt It's on him at some point

This is one of the rare times where it's not all on the team.

But I'm not gonna blame a proctologist for not recognizing cervical cancer (for example)

He can't blame someone else for his incompetence over the last 5 years. He should have gotten a second opinion. Those closest to him should have made him even if everyone was scared of what the rests would have shown, bc it should have never gotten to what it was last Jan or Feb. It shouldn't have gotten to the point where it was growing close to his brain, if he had gotten a 2nd or 3rd opinion in 2014 15, 16 or 17 this would have been handled back then and then, this hold out wouldn't have happened and he be 100% right now!

MKnight82
Reading between the lines from Trents comments, if Dan would fire Bruce and the medical staff I think Trent would come back.

turtle28
Let’s remember that the Redskins didn’t say much about the Trent holdout the last 6 months. Why? If it’s partly bc of medical they can't. HIPPA says otherwise. Reporters were giving vague info but it was always being led with ”I’m hearing or I'm being told” type caveats. I think both sides made mistakes here but up until Brice waiting too late to trade Trent, I actually think for once they didn't totally screw the pooch here. They kinda stuck the tip in but pulled out before they went all the way in! Trent thinks Brice was trying to embarrass him by trading him too late and then revealing there wasn't a huge market or showing teams decline to trade for him. Trent is 100% correct on that!
