I was thinking there was a time he was considered easily the best WW if Usman doesnt exist much like DC & Bones at LHW. Is he even Top-5 though? GSP-Hughes-Usman are all easily ahead of him. Definitely not top 5. If we're just going by UFC, Nick Diaz doesn't make the list because his UFC career wasn't long at all. If we're just going by MMA standards, Diaz is 100% above Covington. This is also leaving off BJ Penn who won the WW title but we all know wasn't a WW and old time champs like Pat Miletich due to potential era differences. GSP Hughes Usman Woodley Lawler Edwards Hendricks Diaz (non-UFC) Are all solidly ahead of him in my book and there are several other toss-ups still out there.
