He was pretty good coming off the bench for Peters or Lane Johnson, especially in the postseason in 2017. He was very inconsistent though.

Would've liked to have him back.... at about half the money he got.

Great day to be a packer fan:

- Cousins extended in Minnesota

- Bears shopping for a Quarterback but none of the HOF quarterbacks

- Lions overpay an OT in Free Agency

- We don't sign Austin Hooper

You forgot to mention the Packers signing a revolving door for 2 years at RT

Is this really bigtime money in 2020?

Idk how you refer to big-time money but I look at it on a per-player basis. If you're the type to take it at it's value and run with it, well that's on you. Me? I'll reserve my judgment on it being overspending with the name that's attached to the signing or not lol.

Sure but there are other needs on that OL. I doubt they'd jump on him that quickly with him being a pure depth signing.

What "needs" are you referring to on "that" OL that are bigger then RT currently? Outside of that position, it's a pretty solid offensive line unit. So, I can't say I know what you're talking about here. If anything, I could see them trading away Lane Taylor and saving the cap they used to sign depth at a position of need after letting Bulaga walk.
