Exactly my point.

I would vote Kinlaw but it won't matter.

I don't think they will go kinlaw just from a perspective of what the team will do. Discounting my own thought on him as a prospect. don't think it happens at all.

Our WR's are currently Crowder, Perriman, Enunwa (career might be over), Braxton Berrios, and Vyncint Smith. We can either get the 4th ranked OT, or the #1 WR, both of which positions of dire need.

Bad way to look at it because it doesn't mean anything at all. The 4th ranked ot could easily be a better prospect than the #1 receiver. How many receivers get taken before the #1 center? Are we going to criticize teams for taking the number #5 receiver over the #1 center just because one is positionally ranked 5 and the other 1? Of course not.

Our OL is already vastly improved from last year where our WR's are worse. Part of having a functioning QB is having weapons that can get open. We can't throw to Crowder every play.

Fant couldn't nail down a starting gig on a notoriously poor Seahawks line. I would be shocked if he was seen as the answer there. You can get starting talent at receiver through to late day three in this class. Tackle is always the more valuable position.

Right but in this case the #1 WR in this class is an elite prospect. #4 OT is not. I guess I shouldve been more clear with my context because that obviously doesn't apply in every scenario. But you catch my drift.

Yeah, I mean, if you don't think Becton is in the same tier as jeudy as a prospect, I 100% am on board with what you are saying.

We can get starting talent OT in round 2 also. I think I'd rather have Jeudy & lets say Josh Jones or Austin Jackson vs. Andrew Thomas and a guy like KJ Hamler or Brandon Aiyuk. Still kinda hoping we find a way to get Trent Williams tbh. Then we can use our 2nd to address the edge.

I actually like Becton, he's my #2 OT but he's gonna take time to develop. Jeudy is polished already.

Man Jeudy in a Shanahan offense should be illegal

I’d argue that Shanahan has always preferred a burner at Z to go along with his YAC bully at X. I think Ruggs would be the perfect fit in his offense, and would be a nightmare paired with Deebo.

I do think that Ruggs will be a guy shanny likes.

Maybe, but Jeudy on those quick slants would be absolutely lethal.

I think people overestimate kinlaw's impact year one, personally

And just as a tangent to this comment, that isn't to say that I don't like Kinlaw. I think he's a strong pick here. But I think he's a inconsistent, raw, and probably needs a year + to cook, and I think for a team in a super bowl window, immediate impact could absolutely be a deciding factor and big thing to consider when making the pick.
