Jackson Baldwin. Good lord.

Have you ever seen that description in the top right before?  "One of a Kind"?  For instance Lebron's and Kawhi's say "All Around Superstar".

Lebron has 35 Badges, Baldwin has 37.  The next closest I could find were Kevin Durant and Russell Westbook who have 28 each.

I think I once made Giannis' potential 99 last year and then played five or six years and eventually he got the "one of a kind" label, but yeah, it's almost always just all-around superstar. He's going to run the league for a decade.

Ok, being in 11th place in the West really isn't that great, but when you compare it to the fact that I won 16 total games all of last season 28 wins at the All Star Break is pretty awesome.  I actually have the same win total as the 8th place team, I just have 2 more losses, so I'm right in the thick of the playoff hunt.  I see no need to make a trade at the deadline this year.  I'm going to stick with what I have and hope I can do well in the 2nd half of the season.

I also reduced the aging regression slider down to 30 (its default is 50), which is why you're seeing a 36 year old Lebron still a 98 OVR.  Baldwin could legit be the best player in the league for the next 15 seasons.

End of the Season – Year 5

Final Record 34-48, or 13th in the West and 18 games behind first place.  I really bombed in the 2nd half of the season, winning only 6 games after the All Star Break.  34 wins is an 18 win improvement from last year though so it’s a step in the right direction.  There’s been no mention of being fired from my owner, so I think he realizes progress is being made.

Season Stats - Year 5
Points Per Game Rebounds Per Game Assists Per Game Steals Per Game Blocks Per Game
PG Mark Carpenter 16.2 PF Noah Vonleh 7.3 PG Mark Carpenter 4.2 PG Mark Carpenter 2.4 PG Mark Carpenter 1
SG Wally Hayes 15.9 PF Ivan Rabb 7.2 PG Alan Clark 3.4 SF Carson Harrison 1.2 PF Jud Stafford 0.9
PF Ivan Rabb 12.8 PF Jud Stafford 6.5 SG Wally Hayes 2.4 SG Wally Hayes 1.0 C Josh George 0.8

More scoring stats are up from last year, and the rebounding is a little better (but not ideal).  My assists are still way down and my blocks are pathetic.  I really need a legitimate Center, and might have to replace Carpenter soon if he doesn't improve.

It looks like the East has surpassed the West as the premier conference in the league.  The Cavs, Hawks, Wizards and Bucks all had better records than any team in the West.

The Year 1 draft is scripted and is part of the MyGM storyline.  It is seriously overpowered.  That is why I skipped it.  The other drafts have been pretty solid IMO.

Is that Baldwin kid scripted?

The 91 rookie that came out the last draft is just dumb.

There are currently 5 CPU generated players in the top 25 in my league.  3 of them (highlighted in Red) are from the scripted 2018 draft.  The other 2 (in blue) were random drafts.  This list was at the beginning of Year 5, so other than the scripted draft it looks pretty good to me.

I would agree I just prefer the progression rather than the starting out at 88-91 every year. Nice to see you have a more realistic class here. Those superstar players should be a once in 5-10 year thing, you know? Unless you turn draft quality up

The draft quality slider was left on default.  I don't think a Superstar entering the league every 4 drafts or so is a bad thing.  The worst part about my long franchise modes in the past was the league kept losing talent and not replenishing it fast enough.  I'd rather have the challenge of trying to beat all these stars than beat down a bunch of scrubs.  Remember I'm not taking any Top 5 picks, so basically the league is just stacking the deck against me.

I remember very well. All I have to do is look at your records

I get what you're saying though.
