Browns General Discussion

Love the Pierre Thomas move. We can move into the season with 4 RBs.

I liked him coming out and he brings us a skillset we don’t currently have. He’s a legit RB.

Trading might be Berry’s 2nd best skill after contract negotiations and structure. Gotta give him props there.

So with Cade gone now how many former Browns kickers are out there lol

Chase Mclaughlin

Zane Gonzales

Greg Joseph

they've all got starting spots and have been consistent I guess?

Maybe Cade is the next one hopefully for his sake

All play in warm weather or domes. Maybe that’s what Cade needs to do.

If they’re good enough to pay there, but not here, maybe we need to be grading on a different scale for guys who play here.

Not defending Cade, he earned being cut, but our kickers in general get very little slack from the fans.

That’s what I’m usually saying, if he was just competent I was all for keeping him.

I was honestly good with him costing us one game and giving him that leash for an opportunity to stay on the roster.

But at the same time if you can secure Hopkins who’s a competitive kicker you gotta do that before you lose your shot.

We need to stop drafting SEC/ACC kickers. Drafting someone who plays with a 30 point lead in 80 degree weather doesn’t translate here.

Idk, I’m not gonna pretend to know **** about kicking.

I agree that kicking in nice weather and kicking a football in freezing, wet, windy weather aren’t the same thing.

I forgot about Seibert too

And hes not even in the league any longer.

We've had some bad luck

But I've actually got faith in Hopkins. We go so much for it on 4th down anyway. Just get him within 45 yards. Everything further than that just go for it. We know what we got dont expect more than what he is. You got a 200 million dollar QB now. Times are different.
