RECRUITING CLASS - YEAR 8
Position Name Height Weight OVR FG 3PT DUNK STL BLK OREB DREB PASS SPD QUICK VERT STR
PF Dee Dee Tipton 6'9" 210 78 82 71 42 71 74 81 94 67 74 77 62 75
PG Zahur Potter 6'1" 179 78 83 64 36 64 64 61 81 81 92 84 92 65

Dee Dee Tipton looks like a freaking monster.  I will probably start him right away.  Potter is a great athlete but not a great shooter looks like a pass first PG.

Awesome, the top 2 guys! Can you tell me how you got both if you only have 1 scholarship?

I had two scholarships that year.

oh ok. The post before you said under Off-Season Recruiting you only had 1 scholarship, then the next post you signed both those players. I don't understand that

Is it difficult to post the career stats in terms of a per game number? I have no clue is 1k points is good lol

The game doesn't track games played as a stat.  I have gross numbers, or stats like PPG each season.  You can't just average PPG each season because they may have played more games one season than another.

I'm going to use the gross stats to track all time records for the team.  Just haven't set that up yet.

END OF REGULAR SEASON - YEAR 10

Final record was 22-8, 1 game better than last year.  But I had a 12-4 in conference record and finished 1st in the ACC!  My RPI is only #42, but I'm ranked #22 in the country in the Media Poll.

IN CONFERENCE STATS/RANKINGS
PPG RPG APG SPG BPG Turnovers Fouls FG% 3PT%
84.7 - 7th 33.6 - 3rd 16.3 - 9th 6.5 - 7th 10.4 - 1st 384 - 2nd 520 - 11th 45.7 - 10th 36.6 - 9th

Scoring still wasn't great, and my efficiency was particularly bad.  Rebounds and blocks were way up though.

TOP STAT PERFORMERS - YEAR 10
PPG RPG APG SPG BPG
C C Marshall - 18.5 C C Marshall - 8.5 PG Z Potter - 4.9 SG C Carson - 1.2 C C Marshall - 2.2
PF DD Tipton - 15.4 PF DD Tipton - 6.4 SG C Carson - 4.3 SF G Erickson - 1.0 PF DD Tipton - 1.7
SF G Erickson - 15.3 C T Cook - 6.1 SG T Daniel - 4.2 SG T Daniel - 1.0 PG Z Potter - 1.3

Interesting that Center C Marshall stepped up as the primary scorer.  This game seems to really lean towards bigs.  Old school mentality.  Potter had some solid assists stats for his first year as a starter.

Player Total Stats - Year 10
Points Rebounds Assists Blocks Steals Turnovers Fouls Minutes
C C Marshall - 556 254 21 67 22 79 75 835
PF DD Tipton - 462 191 3 52 26 77 75 805
SF G Erickson - 459 133 40 31 30 59 75 873
PG Z Potter - 408 52 147 40 26 53 80 949
SG T Daniel - 202 53 127 26 29 32 43 667
SG C Carson - 168 22 130 32 35 39 80 778
C T Cook - 165 184 15 33 25 30 53 600
PF R Alexander - 78 98 5 27 1 6 29 304
SF E Hollins - 34 19 1 4 1 7 15 175
PF C Crossley - 10 2 0 1 1 2 5 18
C J Lawrence - 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
SG M Barber - 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
B Townes - 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
PG N Erickson - 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
C G Small - 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

Scoring was pretty spread out amongst 4 of the 5 starters.  Still not getting much from my SG position.  Not sure if that's because the game trends towards bigs or if my SGs just aren't good.

I'm sick of Ty Daniel, he's heading to the bench.  Carson will start at SG.  Britton transferring really left me short at Guard, I only have 3 solid ones to rotate.

Interesting that you have A+ ranked starters, yet have no player in your starting lineup ranked above 84 OVR.  Does the game even have high 90's OVR players?  Is the player of the year types 99 OVR?  Where is the Zion Williamson's of the game?

@MKnight82 just read through this thread.  I really like your franchise threads - you do a good job keeping track of everything, keep your format consistent, and don't exploit cheats to get quicker results.

I'm thinking about doing one of these for NBA 2k13.  Question though - how do you post those nice tables formatted?  I've tried copying/pasting from Excel and Word - the format in either don't transfer.  And i don't see an option to include tables in this post box.

Google sheets lets you copy/paste right onto the forum.

@theJ I could probably send you my google sheet that has all of the tables.  Would save you time setting them up.  Unless you want to do your own.

Yeah if you have one that's already geared toward one of the NBA 2k games that would save some time.  Thanks!
