Archimedes
Rams made the SB, but they were aided by a suspect call and were defeated in a game that wasn’t competitive. To their credit they were on the road though in NFCCG. Saints got jobbed on the PI call, but they were at home and did have other opportunities after that call. Chiefs lost a close game to Rams during the RS, but it was on the road and they played the Patriots much closer than the Rams did. So who do you think was the 2nd best team? patriotsheatyan
The Rams has the best record of the three teams and also beat them head to head.

As a Pats fan I say KC were the best team, we just pulled one of our patented clutch games from our A in arrowhead. Still can't believe we completed three 3rd and longs in a row.... So; KC, NE, LAR, NO - for me. voted KC up there
LieutenantGains
Until Gurley's knee went all old person, it was the Rams. After that it's the Chiefs imo. So to answer your question, Chiefs
Tetsujin
Chiefs probably would've won the SB if they won the OT coin toss.

So; KC, NE, LAR, NO - for me. voted KC up there The Pats beat KC twice in roughly the same way (stop them in the first half and hold them off enough to get the decisive score when they rallied in the 2nd) When you beat a team the same way twice away and at home, you really don’t have much of an argument to say they were better. Also the Chief’s defense was trash that year.

There’s a zero percent chance the Chiefs stop the Rams the way the Pats did. That defense was horrid. Everyone knew it would kill them in the playoffs

All 3 times their defense was a liability and they couldn’t out score the opposing offense.
