Frankly, I'd rather see him pushed and hope they can win tomorrow. He simply isn't the same pitcher when anything is even remotely off. But it's not uncommon to have issues when you travel. Between planes and hotel rooms, you're exposed to a lot of germs. Oh, I get that. But Dusty made the comment that it's just the Chicago mold this time of year. Sorry Dusty, but that's not a thing. The gap in talent between the two is quite large. how much does being a human factor in, 10% of the decision? If stras kinda didnt want to pitch today and isnt feeling it, what does that take off his stuff? Maybe he goes out and pitches like a stud, but if he gets rocked how many headlines will we see about him being pushed into starting?

Brian23
I bet they have to pull Stras by the 4th. Probably see Max in relief, maybe Roark but I'd bet they go to Max.
Brian23
This weather is also going to neuter the already deceased national bats. They're long ball or nothin'.

hrubes20
Jake has lost all command at this point. I don't hold it against the ump at all for not giving him any close calls.
playmaker8267
If this is Strasburg with the flu, imagine how well he could pitch if he had the plague.
