coordinator0
I'm pretty content with this deal. Stanley is really good at a singular position of high importance that's part of a position group of the utmost importance. The nicks and dings are somewhat concerning but he hasn't had anything serious happen yet. Fingers crossed, knock on wood, whatever. This deal is just the cost of doing business at left tackle these days. Thanks BoB.

He’s also still young (turned 26 this past March), so contract covers what should all be prime years: 27 - 31
berlin calling
keeping a top tackle in his prime long term is a no brainer. Watching Olines around the league i can't believe people actually wanting to get rid of him. great move EDC

DreamKid
If cap space does become a severe issue, it will be OBJ getting shipped out imo. It makes the most sense. Despite being very unfortunate from a historic perspective(Zeus). He can be moved for an early round pick quite easily, and would obviously be easier to replace than Stanley. I don't see the team moving on from Andrews or Hollywood over Brown in really any scenario. DeCosta isn't going to ship out homegrown playmakers. Guys like Marcus Peters, Calais Campbell, etc aren't going anywhere either. Our situation is never going to be that dire. Someone we might lose would be like a Deshon Elliot type. Ascending player that could have a monster season right as he's hitting FA. Which is why many have advocated extending him early, similarly to the Clark & Ricard moves done in 2019. In the end though, there's only so much money to go around and you can only have so many good/great players that aren't on Rookie deals. Which is why we'll, and have already started to, prioritize the foundational positions- QB, CB, OT, PR.
berlin calling
Agreed. To start the 2022 season EDC will have signed: All Pro CB All Pro LT All Pro QB Pro Bowl (as of today) PR All at the age of mid 20. thats text book scenario.
Ray Reed
Yep. Pretty boring (as extensions go), but so was picking a LT at #6. Boring moves tend to work out.
RavensfanRD
Delightful gentlemen! Good to see we've retained the services of a stud at LT. Now we just need to wrap him up in bubble wrap, grab the icy hot and have the thots tell him its ok NOT to get hurt. Get that outta the way and it should be fun times. Heard that the money this year didn't change and kinda bummed that isn't the case. That's because we would've known for sure that the Ravens would be adding not just another piece, but some sort of world beater. Shoutout to EDC and Patty M for gettin' it done. I'm starting to sweat thinking about LJ8. 😆 Fruit Punch - 100 mill Stanley - 100 mill LJ8 (Pending Superbowl win) 501 mill Yikes!
