The hope is he continues the progression defensively we saw in the playoffs and brings up the 3PT% a bit. He's great at corner threes but awful above the break. The shooting coach Lethal Shooter tinkered with his shot and got it away from his rookie year form, but it has looked better in preseason. He shot like 41 or 42 percent from 3. Kuzma is the best on paper with his foot speed and height, but he's inconsistent and falls for fakes. Caruso is probably the best match-up if we wanna put a shorter guy on him. You're misremembering. PG was fine against the Nuggets. He shot just as well as Kawhi did. PG was awful shooting wise in the Mavs series.
