Crowe, 26, went 0-2 with an 11.88 ERA in three starts for the Nationals. Yean, 19, is 3-5 with a 4.70 ERA in 20 starts in Washington's farm system. That's a win for the Nats IMO. Josh Bell always struck me as the player who always had potential, but always underachieved. Outside of the first half of 2019, he's been a pretty meh first baseman. It's not like they gave up a ton, but they're basically gambling that he needs a change of scenery. Which is kind of an odd for a team that is supposed to be going for it at the end of their window. True - 2019 is a bit of an outlier - but if he hits for you like he did then........he'll be a nice bat to pair with Soto.
hrubes20
Dude mashes against the Cubs. Happy to see him out of the division. Very low cost for the Nats, too.
