The Mills signing makes a lot more sense now, I was thinking the same thing. Then you factor in the draft and depth in 2020. Idk what that move was about. Mills seems like an insurance option for Devin McCourty more so than Chung but it is a hasty one that could have been thought out much better than this. Likely ring of honour candidate, but doesn’t have that signature play, or those clutch moments which really made the other Pats dynasty defensive players.
