I wish him nothing but the best, but it’s quite clear that being an athlete in the public eye was a driving factor in his constant stream of relapses. I don’t even want the team to indulge any dreams of him coming back, because it’s only going to add so much more stress to his battle to stay sober. Someone on Reddit said that later that day Brent Martineau texted MJD to confirm if it was Blackmon and MJD said he wasn’t sure.
