The sniper guy I use has a drone, I also tried the engineer guy and he has a turret. The drone is pretty fun. Find yourself a nice little nook to hide in, launch the drone, rack up XP spotting the enemies and it apparently has an EMP blast built into it but I cannot figure out how to use it (user error again) - You can equip any weapon and equipment to any loudout. So if you want to be a "medic" and run around with a sniper rifle, ammo bag, and frag you can. Which to me seems totally dumb. Why even bother have classes then Game def needs a few updates. It's not a total cluster f of a launch like BF4 was but it's frustrating to play right now. Yeah the scoreboard sucks and you cannot actually switch squads right now but I think that is being addressed in the first big update or some crap. Technically they don't have classes right, which was the big uproar after the beta but I want to play for a while before I decide how bad of an idea that is. Seems like the bloom and hitreg is ****ed for sure but it has more to do with moving while shooting? Seen DMRs miss left and right on clips but they're usually moving while doing it, I'm sure they'll adjust that? But it is broken beyond that, which doesn't surprise me. I still have PTSD from that and rubber banding in the other games, especially early after release Hovercrafts going up walls and then flying for 800m is hilarious though. That being said, I've been too busy yet to sit down and play any. I can't tell you the countless times I've been on target only for my shots to not register. It's got all the makeups of a BR game - classes, big maps w/a lot of open lanes. Maybe it's the Apex player in me but that's the initial feeling I got from my 5ish hours into the game (saving the other part of my trial for the full launch). I went into my own solo server against bots just to mess around and figure out which guns I can actually use. I had a DMR, I was prone, there was a bot about 150 meters away who was stationary. I started taking shots at him slowly with about a second in between. Out of 10 shots with the reticle dead center on him only 2 hit. BF1 had bloom as well and it took some skill to manage it since you had to used controlled fire and mouse pulldown but the bloom in this game is insane. BFV has some of the best gunplay I have ever experience in an FPS and this one is by far the worst (as of now). Graphics is hardly ever the issue with EA/DICE. At this point I'm just enjoying the game playing in solo servers with bots. Now it's completely barren. Highly doubt they intended to go down that route again. I think you hit the nail on the head here though. Makes even more sense with the direction the base game went that they used Portal to be, hey here's the game you BF fans from way back want. Shockwave Posted November 22, 2021 Share Posted November 22, 2021 Finally been getting into the MP servers. Using Casper and his drone is actually really fun. I'll load it up with C5, go and EMP a tank then fly under it and blow it away, follow around a Hovercraft and just keep giving it EMPs, throw a med or ammo pack on it and follow my guys around. Last night for a good 5 minutes I was trolling an enemy trooper. One of those lone wolf guys flanking around the entire map. So I'm getting in his face and buzzing and spotting him. He'd get frustrated and start spraying at me. The drone is so quick though I can usually evade. And I'm just sitting there laughing. Still can't hit much with the weapons so I figure at least I can enjoy the game this way. The SVK has been my most productive one so far but if I miss the 1st shot I'm screwed.
