Typically it's only 1 day.  Even without "hitting" on a target you can still get information depending on the roles.  Obviously the roles in these games are normally a lot more random than what you find in Town of Salem where there are normally a certain number of investigative, protector, etc type roles where you could even find town more often and then look at who is trying to bandwagon them.
