Am I wrong that Cincy would of been forced to use a timeout if he wasn’t able to get off field?!

It will be fixed, it's going to CIN.

EDIT:  Wait, we're still outside the 2 min warning.   So it's not a CIN TO.

Sutton was open, and Lock missed him because he threw high and flat footed.

Just so we're clear, TeddyB has been awful, so anything is an upgrade.  But Lock's propensity to make mistakes AND his problems with mechanics/slow read progression/lack of pocket awareness, and how good the rest of our team is, are why the coaches went with TeddyB so the O wouldn't lose games against inferior teams.   But we should always recognize Lock's arm talent and his aggressiveness outstrip TeddyB by a long shot.  It's just that he never made progress on the flaws.   The INT vs. LAC and the high throw are exactly the weaknesses Lock had in year 2 - and it doesn't look like it's improved this year, either.

Contrast that to Burrow, who had the smarts to BOTH take the sack instead of throwing the ball away on 2nd down (and force us to use our 2 TO), and then stand heroically against pressure AND deliver a strike on 3rd down to Boyd to put us on the brink.

It sucks that our D is on the field right now trying to get the ball back - they deserve SO much better.

Lock unfortunately just hasn't made nearly enough progress in any of his deficits like you mentioned. If we didn't have as much evidence of that, I might be willing to attribute the miss to not taking 1st rep snaps in practice, but we all know that's not his issue.

Why would you take the timeout there?!

Fangio game management, check and mate.  The game clock was 25 with an injury, now it's 40 with the TO taken.

He just literally shortened the game by 1 full play and likely by 40+ secs when we need to drive the ENTIRE field and get a TD.    Way to go Fangio.

Injury TO by offiicials OUTSIDE of 2 min warning.  Inside 2 min warning, CIN has to take a TO.

But Fangio not understanding the difference is MASSIVE.  It's likely a 50+ second difference.  Fangio would have had 4th down and 2:00 left AND 1 TO with a punt.
