Who else does TCU have that’s gonna play on Sundays?

bcb1213
I probably would have given it to McFadden in 2006

I'm going way to far back in the mental roladex right now but I think Troy Smith didn't even have 3000 yards that year total? I know that's a ton for college players but I think McFadden and one other RB went nuts. Ray Rice maybe, kid from Boise maybe. Was Peterson healthy that year or still in college, i don't recall? I think there was some random qb from Hawaii or something that had like 5-6000 yards too, not that it matters but just in context

Under 1,800 yards and 14 TD to go with 11 receptions that year in 2006. Basically the same for Ray Rice too. He went nuts in 2007. Although, he had almost the exact same yardage as DMC in 2006 with more TD. 1 minute ago, bcb1213 said: Ray Rice maybe, kid from Boise maybe. Passing Year School Conf Class Pos G Cmp Att Pct Yds Y/A AY/A TD Int Rate *2003 Ohio State Big Ten SO QB 11 *2004 Ohio State Big Ten JR QB 8 68 122 55.7 896 7.3 7.5 8 3 134.2 *2005 Ohio State Big Ten SR QB 11 149 237 62.9 2282 9.6 10.2 16 4 162.7 *2006 Ohio State Big Ten SR QB 13 203 311 65.3 2542 8.2 9.2 30 6 161.9 I guess I don't think you really have a close viable candidate to Smith in 2006, especially considering the Heisman was handed out pre BCS Title Game. Up until that game, he played pretty immaculate football, beat 2 #2 teams, and that team was 12-0 with a bunch of controversy about whether or not Florida should have been in it...which is hilarious now with hindsight, but still.
