Probably let him go to FA and then waiver claim him week 1 or shark tank it to reduce the cap hit this year. This makes more sense and I appreciate you weighing and I don't know what I'm gonna do in this regard I'm not gonna bother using a 5th year option but basically throwing away a waiver claim next season might be the way to go.
