RFA is usually not very exciting and it makes sense why it isn't. You're giving up a cost-controlled rookie contract for a player you have to pay real money to right away. And it's hard to get good value contracts in RFA because if the contract is too team-friendly then the team will just match. So by design you usually have to overpay a bit. Doesn't mean you can't get good players or deals in RFA but it's rarer and riskier.

Big names will get bid on. McLaurin will get a big bid before it's over.

Also when a couple teams owner 74% of the picks the bids won't be as crazy.
