Dome
The story says he was asleep in his car. Police got calls about someone asleep, not someone driving drunk… Hobbs' attorneys David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld tell TMZ Sports, "The facts and circumstances related by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to the news media leave serious concerns that this does not qualify as a DUI under Nevada law." It sounds like he got drunk somewhere and went to his car to sleep it off, at the very least it’s plausible. while maybe not technically legal, I’m not going to crucify him for this because it’s actually responsible. I’ll wait for details. Edited January 3, 2022 by Dome
Forge
Lets just get it in now: "can't believe that they thought putting a team in vegas was a good idea" "what do they expect to happen in vegas"

Hm… it also says he was parked on an exit ramp. Maybe he tried to drive. Maybe he parked illegally to begin with. I bet there are cameras. If the dude stumbled out of a bar or casino drunk and sat in his car, I could not care less and hope he wins his case in court

As someone who has parked illegally at the Cromwell sober before, I'm going to say that the latter is certainly possible lol

I feel like this happens every few years to one particular team a lot. Early 2010's, the niners had a terrible run of it. I think the Bengals had a rough run in the late 00's.

Yeah don't get me wrong i think being in Vegas makes it worse, but I think these problems would be existent even in Oakland. It's about the players not the city in which they play imo.
RaidersAreOne
Our culture is so beyond f'd. Ruggs killing someone drunk, Jacobs had that DUI crap earlier in the year, Hobbs now. NFL players just can't handle Vegas. What a disaster.
Apparition
You bring a few dozen guys in their early 20s to live in Vegas for 6 months out of the year and this is what you get. Who could've guessed?
