Dang I feel pretty bad for him. At least he has other streams of revenue (I think) from twitch streaming/tik tok/commercials?

If this is true I think we see him back next year on a very cheap deal. Or maybe at this point he just wants a change of scenery since Ben is gone? Who knows.

Ben ruined his value, I think he can still put up numbers when let to run a route more then 1 yard

I'd take him back in a heartbeat for a reasonable deal, get rid of Johnson and his I want 17 a year

This is being said about a ton of FA WR's this year.

Only 5 have signed: Kirk, Wilson, Jones, Gage, Chark

That means Robinson, Landry, Crowder, Pringle, Valdez-Scantling, Wilson, Watkins and others are still out there.

I've also heard that if Adams, Godwin weren't tagged it would be a touch more robust as teams would be going to other guys to try to get value.

Next years WR group is also looking like a good one:
Hill, Cooks, Chark, Lazard, Meyers, Moore, Samuel, AJ Brown, Hardman, Metcalf, Johnson, McLaurin, Renfrow, Slayton, Miller.

Now I know some will get extended (Hill, Samuel, Brown, Metcalf at the top of that list) and some will get tagged (McLaurin at the top of that list, maybe Moore).  That still would leave a decent class t pick from along with potential cuts happening.

I made this comment before FA.  JuJu talent level is not expensive.  he is a possession receiver.

The draft is really really deep in WR as well.

Ok so looking at 3 positions

WR

  • Pie in the sky: Allen Robinson, Jarvis Landry, Jamison Crowder
  • Wouldn't say never, but unlikely: Will Fuller, TY Hilton, DeSean Jackson, Emmanuel Sanders
  • Likely, but don't count on it: Keelan Cole, Byron Pringle, Marquise Goodwin, Auden Tate
  • Guys who I would be watching: Juju Smith-Schuster, Rashard Kiggins, Mack Hollins, Ray-Ray McCloud

CB

  • Pie in the sky: Stephon Gilmore, Donte Jackson
  • Wouldn't say never, but unlikely: Joe Haden, Kyle Fuller, Casey Hayward, Kevin King
  • Likely, but don't count on it: Ahkello WItherspoon, Steven Nelson, Mike Hughes
  • Guys I would keep an eye on: Jason Verrett, PJ Williams, Vernon Hargreaves, Mackensie Alexander

SAFETY

  • Pie in the sky: Keanu Neal, Jabrill Peppers,
  • Wouldn't say never, but unlikely: Tashaun Gipson, Deon Bush, Jayron Kearse
  • Likely, but don't count on it: Tyrann Mathieu, Brandon King, Jaquiski Tartt, Deshon Elliott
  • Guys I would be watching: Terrell Edmunds, Anthony Harris

So handicapping this grouping -- I think the WR comes from the guys I'm watching group.  Would love to see someone from the Pie in the Sky (Jackson).  The Likely, But Don't Count On It is where I want the safety to come from.  That would set up to still pick some of these positions (WR, Corner) due to the depth of the draft and the timing of contracts.

I would bring him back for his run blocking, reliable hands, and toughness after the catch ability alone.

It’s hard not to see a little Hines Ward in his game if these could just start using him right again.

I do not not how true this is, but the UGA pro day is on Wednesday. Tomlin and Colbert will likely be there. This is from #Steelers

Fine, but at a small base salary with bonuses based on performance.

#Bills free agent CB Levi Wallace is finalizing a 2-year, $8M deal with the #Steelers. Former undrafted free agent started 52 games in four years for Buffalo and now joins Pittsburgh's secondary.
@Schultz_Report

Cover 3 CB.  He is a zone coverage guy.  Perfect for **** LeBeau's defense.
