These polls really should be public. I have no doubt guys are voting the same person all 3 times which I'm assuming is against the rules.

I have faith in our board.... Next ones will be public.

All because you don't want them to, that doesn't mean that they won't

No, just because of what we have heard in the media and the staffs thoughts on Goff.  QB isn't an urgent need for us and they want an instant impact player.  They mentioned they need someone at 2 that will be ready to start by the first game and Willis is definitely not that. Especially given how much they like Goff.

Not even Jared Goff really likes Jared Goff.....

I'm not saying it will happen, but it is a realistic scenario and should have at least been an option on the poll.

Perhaps he should have been on the poll, but our team likes Goff.  He finished strong (top 10 in QBR once Dan Campbell took over play calling) and earned his chance.  And with no elite QBs, there is no reason to force it.

Exactly. I'm a fan of building a strong roster before drafting a franchise QB, that way when you do pick the QB he walks in a way better situation and has more chance of succeeding. No QB in this draft warrants pick #2, even factoring the positional value.  I'd rather pick DL or OL or even CB and then try to get a QB next year, as it is a much better class. Goff ain't the long-term solution for the Lions but he's okay as a stop gap for the next year or two.
