Leader
Whoooaaaaaaaaaaa.....just checked in on the NYY/BALT game and its 5-1 BALT in btm of the 2nd. Looks like Sonny Gray is back to being Sonny Gray again....... 2.2IP 8H 7ER 2BB 3K 57PITCHES Against the juggernaut that is the *post trade deadline* Baltimore Orioles lineup. Pitiful. pollino14
Fair or not, Boone needs to be questioned after a 6-6 series with Baltimore and just losing to bad teams in general.
Leader
Mr. Stanton hasnt exactly put the team on his shoulders. Stats since AJ has been out: 4 for 21 - 3 RBI - 5K's - 0 for 4 w/RISP.

Leader
No. Inferences that he's not put the team on his back and needs to do better can be made. Conclusions are what cant be drawn.

pollino14
How long are we going to accept this sloppy, heartless play without raising questions about Boone. It’s how we’re losing , it’s the energy , it’s not the same.
Leader
Adams doesn't get a swing and miss until pitch No. 42. Of course it is to strikeout Mookie Betts, 1 of the hardest batters to whiff in the majors. Adams out after 5 innings, 3 runs and exactly 2 turns thru lineup. Yankees would have signed up for that outcome. He gave up 2 HRs, but mainly threw strikes, did not seem rattled by the environment or the moment. There are 2 outs in the 9th. Torres coming up as tying run and only as the AB begins does Betances begin to warm up in Yankees pen. Joel Sherman
Leader
"This weekend capped a shaky stretch where the Yankees are just 18-20 over their last 38 games with question marks all over the field" A few things would be true if George were alive and running things like the old days..... A. The NYY wouldnt have built the team they have. B. Boone would be fired over this performance.

We wouldn't have Judge, Sanchez, or Severino and we'd be 5 games under .500 if peak Steinbrenner ran this team FFS.
