aceinthehouse
As some of you know, Madden 23 will be released to the public August 19th. (Earlier to those who preorder) I've decided to keep a thread for just our Washington players & their overall ratings. These are the dates for the release of positions. 7/18 - Wide Receivers 7/19 - Edge Rushers 7/20 - Running Backs 7/21 - Cornerbacks & DLine 7/22 - Quarterbacks, 99 Club, NFL Team Ratings Which can be found here: https://www.ea.com/games/madden-nfl/player-ratings I'm hoping to have complete player ratings today for Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson, Curtis Samuels, Cam Sims, Dyami Brown, etc. Keep in mind...the players & rosters will probably look quite a bit different by the time the season starts & the official rosters are released. (Cause you might have undrafted rookies make the team & what not) That's why they have updates, patches & so on. I'll update this thread ( or someone else posting can) as soon as get the WR's ratings. Hopefully soon, we'll have the complete roster of our Washington Commanders. The talent is there for this unit to thrive. Hopefully Wentz and these guys can put TD's on the board instead of FG's.

Hopefully Wentz and these guys can put TD's on the board instead of FG's. Looks to be a very usable WR's to start off with. The 4 to keep for sure are Scary Terry, Curtis Samuel, Jahan Dotson & Dyami Brown. They're the only 4 on the team with speed in the 90's. Not to mention, they're also relatively young & will continue to progress as well. I'll probably only keep 5 off the bat, since I usually carry 3 TE's & 4 RB's in franchise mode. I'm thinking I'll keep Cam Sims & put Erickson, Harmon, Golden & Milne on the trade block immediately. Rounding out my 5. I'll probably use Samuel for my specific slot formations with his 94 in speed. (Plus, it's where he belongs, imo) Jahan as my #2 as he's a Terry clone. Dyami will make a very solid #4, when opening up the offense.
aceinthehouse
Looking at other teams WR's & comparing. Our WR's are fast as ****. Lol What keeps their ratings lower is their "awareness" rating. Simple playing time will help that. Terry is the only WR with awareness at 80 or better, with an 89. All the others are in the 70's. For comparison sake, I looked at the Raiders WR's. Davante Adams is 99 ovr. 90 in speed & 99 awareness Hunter Renfro is 85 ovr I believe with high awareness. Speed in the 80's. I figure after year 1 & progressions. Scary Terry in the mid 90's ovr (95+) Samuel in the low-to mid 80's ovr Dotson around the same as Samuel. Dyami Brown in the high 70's ovr. All with good speed in the 90's.

e16bball
Samuel seems too low for my taste. Guy had 1150 total yards the year before last. He was hurt all last season, but it’s not like he forgot how to play football or anything. I think his rating should be higher than a 78. aceinthehouse
Edge Rushers are up. Man, do we have a fast team or what? Sweat & Jamin Davis have a 90+ in speed. Chase with his 89 & every LBer with an 85+, with the exception to Mayo.

DCNative
If Chase is a 86, Sweat IMO should be like a 82-84. Sweat isn't that far behind Chase if he isn't in front of Chase IMHO. Didn't see Jonathan Allen rating. He must be in the 90's if Chase is at 86. Allen is and has been more productive than Chase. They do DT's on Thursday. So we'll know then. And I agree. I think Sweat should be higher in overall, if not at least even with Chase. Allen had a good year last year, so I'm expecting him to be good. In fact, our D-line across the board is going to be very good. Even Payne will be 80+. aceinthehouse
RB's & FB's are up. I could be wrong, but it looks like Gibson's rating dropped a little. He's & 80 ovr. I thought he was higher.
