Kirby picked the wrong QB, plain and simple. Alabama runs a pretty conservative offense even with Tua, that’s where Kirby came from. We’ll never know the answer but I can’t imagine it’d be that much different with the other two under center. Georgia has always been a run dominated team, even when they had Stafford and AJ Green. Fields would obviously bring running ability though, but I wouldn’t see Kirby calling too many designed runs but I could be wrong, who knows.
