Public comments always different than actual feelings. I don't think the defense ever liked him. That is what most of the best guys say now anyway. I don't actually care about Cutler. I think the guys who liked him were shocked and pissed off. I think it didn't mean a lot to the guys who didn't like him. Every player would have interpreted that differently. Some probably thought it was accountability and others thought it was unfair.

Which is the exact same as you would get from firing Fox right now.

If Fox is as "loved" as everyone says he is then it will carry a lot of weight.

topwop1
We all want Fox gone and he will be soon. That we are arguing whether or not he should be let go right now won't make any difference to the 2018 Chicago Bears.

He is actively stunting the development of young players who will be here in 2018. Trubisky, Shaheen, Cohen, Hall, all were not used in the last game. I still have not heard a reason to keep him that trumps that.

Because you are under the impression that Loggains or Fangio will somehow do more with these guys than Fox has...based again on nothing... You keep Fox in place because there is zero point in getting rid of him.
G08
McAdoo lost his locker room and he lost the respect of ownership... completely different story here. No message being sent other than "we treat well-liked veteran Head Coaches like crap in Chicago". You lose more than you gain, Windy.

I think you over estimate how much the NFL resembles a junior high girls basketball team. Most of these guys would step on John Fox's throat to take his job. 1 on 32 of these jobs and it comes with 5 years 25 million. The Bears could set John Fox on fire and they could still get them same coach as before.
