minutemancl Posted March 7, 2023 Share Posted March 7, 2023 Yeah, he's going to sign that deal on the table real soon. It's reported to be 3 years for $12.5 million AAV. Right now, he's on the tag, which is 1 year only, $10.1 million. For a RB, with his injury history, it would be suicide to play on that. Once Schoen screwed himself by saying to the media that Daniel Jones "would be" back next year, the only leverage he held over Saquon was the tag, and that could only be used IF he could get a deal done with Jones by the deadline.
