If this power continues into the regular season, it changes the look of this line-up again. He's was an OBP monster last year, but didn't really trike the fear of being able to pop one out in key spots.

I don't think he has that type of power (30 HR potential), but if he could hit you 15+ a year that is a huge boost.
kgarrett12486
Walker injures his shoulder today on slide into 2B. Saying it's shoulder strain, but heading for MRI. This may be the excuse needed for him not to make the opening day club if he misses even a few games

MOSteelers56
Apparently Walker is fine and should be back in the lineup soon.
kgarrett12486
Tigers claimed RHP Freddy Pacheco off waivers from the Cardinals. Pacheco was optioned to Triple-A Memphis earlier this month and the Cardinals ultimately decided to remove him altogether from their 40-man roster. The interesting development here is that the Cardinals suddenly have an open spot on the 40-man roster to add someone else, like a top prospect, perhaps. Hmmm....

kgarrett12486
The Cardinals have optioned pitchers Dakota Hudson and Matthew Liberatore to the Triple-A affiliate Memphis Redbirds.

Makes sense as Id assume Pallante is the long reliever, and one of them is the fisrt to get a crack if a long term injury happens
